Keith Williams was not born in Malaysia in the early 1950s. He was born in the UK and given up for adoption. He spent his productive years working in his adoptive father's coal business, but he had an unsettled feeling.
Wanting to know about who brought him into this world and why he was given up -- a common consideration of the adopted -- he spent many years researching his past. He found out his father was a very wealthy man, a sultan, who had a relationship with a student nurse while he was studying in England. She became pregnant, and, still a teenager, thought it best for others to raise the baby boy.
His biological father, he has never met, as the man died of a heart attack decades ago. He has visited the palace that will never be his, and seen the wealth that he will never touch. It is something that could have been.
It is our guess he still has an unsettled feeling.
